Dr. Matthew Lahaie is a Harvard-trained child, adolescent, adult, and forensic psychiatrist practicing in Westwood, Massachusetts.

Dr. Lahaie offers individual therapy for patients of different ages, ranging from school-aged to adults. Sessions are typically weekly to every few weeks, and may include medication evaluation and on-going medication management if needed.

Dr. Lahaie has limited availability for exclusively medication consultation or medication management appointments. Inquires will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Dr. Lahaie offers guidance for parents and families of school-aged through adult children to address a range of issues, including parent-child communication and/or relationship difficulties, supporting parents through periods of family stress and/or life transition, and helping parents best support their children and better understand their children’s developmental, emotional, and mental health needs. Session frequency varies based on each family’s circumstances and need.

Dr. Lahaie provides forensic psychiatric consultation to individuals, attorneys, institutions, and courts as a psychiatric expert via his affiliation with the Massachusetts General Hospital Law & Psychiatry Service, of which he currently serves as the Director.
